My name is Becky Lucas and this is the blurb for my stand up comedy show. I am the only female Australian comedian to have performed on the Conan O&rsquo;Brien show in the US, I&rsquo;ve hosted the MICF gala, I&rsquo;ve performed my solo show at the Sydney Opera house and written my very own book called 'Acknowledgements'. &nbsp; &nbsp; The thing is, I&rsquo;ve listed my credits here for almost ten years and to be honest, I&rsquo;m not even sure if anyone has ever read them. I don&rsquo;t want to include quotes from newspapers about how funny I am because who cares?&nbsp; &nbsp;

She's Emma and she wears many hats. She's a comedian, writer, photographer, collage artist and writer, but first and foremost, she's a friend. She's from all over the place. She mostly grew up in between Bandung, Indonesia and Canberra, Australia. She currently live in Brisbane because it&rsquo;s warm and she has brittle bones.
She does stand-up comedy and loves including pictures and videos in her little skits.&nbsp;

"This is the official bio for my brand new show You Paid for This. Not to be confused with any of the fakes ones out there. I had to write this bio myself, which really threw my morning plans. I thought coming up with the title was the hard part, but writing a 150 word biography about a comedy show I haven&rsquo;t performed yet is really hard. It&rsquo;s called You Paid for This, and yes, I&rsquo;m aware you likely haven&rsquo;t actually paid yet. It&rsquo;s what we call in the biz &ldquo;presumptive selling&rdquo;. A bold, but risky move. The show does what the title suggests, presuming you buy a ticket. I can&rsquo;t promise much beyond an hour of jokes, sponsored by you.
