Robert Glasper is an acclaimed American pianist, record producer, and songwriter known for blending jazz, R&B, and hip-hop. Born on April 6, 1978, in Houston, Texas, he studied at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York. His career took off with his debut album "Mood" (2004) and soared with the Grammy-winning "Black Radio" (2012) and "Black Radio 2" (2013) by the Robert Glasper Experiment. Glasper is celebrated for his genre-crossing collaborations with artists like Erykah Badu and Kendrick Lamar.
