ABOUT THE ARTIST

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are an American rock band formed in1983 in Los Angeles, USA. Their music brings in elements of alternative rock, punk rock, fun and psychedelic rock. Consisting of band members, Anthony Kiedis (lead vocalist), Flea (bassist), Chad Smith (drummer) and John Frusciante (guitarist), the band has accumulated over 100 million records sold worldwide and are regarded as one of the best-selling bands of all time.

They are the most successful band in the history of alternative rock, with the records for most number-one singles, most cumulative weeks at number one and most top-ten song on the Billboard Alternative Songs Chart. Under their belt they have also received six Grammy Awwards and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
